As soon as possible after the event that causes the loss or damage, or legal liability, please:
  • Take reasonable steps to minimise, reduce, preserve the damage.
  • Where appropriate, inform the police about:  any malicious damage, any theft or attempted theft of your insured property, and any accidental loss of personal valuables.
